The Power of Invisalign:

1. Virtually Invisible:

Invisalign aligners are designed to be virtually invisible, allowing you to undergo orthodontic treatment with confidence. Say goodbye to the noticeable brackets and wires of traditional braces and hello to the subtlety of clear aligners.

2. Customized Comfort:

Your journey with Invisalign begins with a detailed digital scan of your teeth. Using advanced computer technology, a series of custom aligners are crafted to fit your unique smile perfectly. These aligners are made from smooth, comfortable materials that won’t irritate your cheeks or gums.

3. Removable Convenience:

One of the standout features of Invisalign is its removability. Unlike traditional braces that are fixed in place, Invisalign aligners can be easily removed for eating, brushing, and special occasions. This means no dietary restrictions and hassle-free oral hygiene.

4. Efficient Progress:

Invisalign’s cutting-edge technology doesn’t just offer convenience – it’s highly effective. Your treatment plan is mapped out using advanced software, guiding your teeth through a series of gradual shifts. With each new aligner, you’ll see your smile transform step by step.

5. Enhanced Digital Experience:

From your initial consultation to the final reveal, Invisalign employs state-of-the-art digital tools. You’ll be able to visualize your treatment plan before it even begins, giving you a clear idea of what to expect and allowing your orthodontist to make any necessary adjustments.

How Invisalign Works:

Consultation and Planning: Your orthodontist will conduct a thorough examination and create a personalized treatment plan. Digital scans, images, and impressions are taken to create a 3D model of your teeth.

Custom Aligners: Using the 3D model, a series of custom aligners are created specifically for you. Each aligner is designed to move your teeth incrementally, getting you closer to your desired smile.

Wear and Progress: You’ll wear each set of aligners for 1 week. You’ll notice your teeth gradually shifting into alignment as you progress through the series.

Check-Ins: Regular check-ins with your orthodontist ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Adjustments can be made if necessary to ensure optimal results. Check-Ins can be done in office or virtually.

Reveal Your New Smile: Once you’ve completed your series of aligners, you’ll be amazed by your transformed smile.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Invisalign cost?

The price for orthodontic treatment with Invisalign will depend on the complexity of the case and how long it will take.

Does dental insurance typically cover Invisalign treatment?

If you have dental insurance that covers orthodontics, it will have the same coverage for braces or Invisalign.

What is the cost of replacing an Invisalign aligner if it is lost?

We understand that accidents happen. That’s why we don’t charge for the first few replacement aligners. If additional replacements are needed beyond that, a fee may apply, which we’ll review with you in advance.

Does Invisalign actually work as well as braces?

In most cases, yes Invisalign can work as well as braces. There are even some cases where Invisalign is better. Invisalign is constantly being improved and has capabilities now that it did not have just a few years ago. It is also important to know that not all other clear aligner companies are as affective as Invisalign.  Treatment outcome also will depend on the skill of the orthodontist you are working with.

How noticeable is Invisalign really?

Invisalign is much less noticeable than braces, but it’s not completely invisible. The aligners are made of clear plastic, so most people won’t notice them at a glance. However, small, temporary tooth-colored attachments may be used on certain teeth to ensure the aligners apply the right amount of force in the correct direction.

Is Invisalign treatment painful or uncomfortable?

Most patients who have experienced both braces and Invisalign report that Invisalign is more comfortable. This is because aligners are changed regularly, allowing teeth to move in smaller, more gradual increments. You may feel slight pressure for a day or two when starting a new set of aligners, but this discomfort is typically mild and short-lived compared to traditional braces, where adjustments are designed to guide tooth movement over several weeks at a time.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Most Invisalign treatments take about 6 to 18 months, depending on how complex your case is. During your consultation, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan so you know exactly what to expect.

How often are dental visits required during Invisalign treatment?

There are two ways that orthodontist monitor patients in Invisalign.  In some cases, patients come in every 6-10 weeks.  The other way is the use of virtual care, where patients send photos of their teeth weekly.  If the teeth are tracking well, there are less in office visits and some patients come only every 4-6  months.

Aligners should be used 22 hours per day.  The only time you should take them out are when you are eating or drinking anything except plain water.

There are many different cleaning products for aligners including Invisalign’s Cleaning Crystals.  We actually just recommend denture tablets because they are cheaper and just has effective. You will soak your aligners in cold water with one tablet for 3 minutes.  After three minutes, scrub them with a wet toothbrush and rinse them off.  Do not use toothpaste or mouth wash to clean your aligners.

We recommend that you try hard to not lose them but because each aligner is only used for 1 week, it isn’t catastrophic if you lose one.  If things have been tracking well, just advance to the next week’s aligner early.  If your teeth have not been tracking well, move back to your last aligner and call the office to order a replacement.

Compliance is a big concern. For Invisalign to work effectively, aligners should be worn 22 hours per day. If you forget to wear them occasionally, you may notice your next set feels tighter or more uncomfortable. Repeatedly missing wear time can delay your progress and extend your overall treatment time.

Yes. After Invisalign, you’ll transition from wearing your retainers full-time to nighttime wear over time. Long-term retainer use is essential to keep your teeth in their new position and maintain your results.
